Consulting Contract ExtendedRod's contract as a facilitator/associate consultant with the Inspiritational Professional Learning Community Network (IPLCN) has been extended to include the 2010/11 school year.
Then There Were SixThe Inspirational Professional Learning Community Network now consists of six Rochdale primary schools; Belfield, Brimrod, Greenbank, Heybrook, Marland Hill and Spotland. The IPLCN recently received a grant from the Greater Manchester Challenge to support its work in establishing a network wide coaching entitlement to all school leaders. The IPLCN's long term goal is for all of its schools to be judged outstanding by Ofsted.
IPLCN ContributionsThe IPLCN 2009/10 professional development programme includes contributions from Sir John Jones and Roy Leighton.
Bury Work IncreasesRod is now working with eight primary schools in Bury Local Authority as a link advisor and School Improvement Partner (SIP)
IPLCN WorkRod and Yvonne's recent contributions to the IPLCN leadership development programme have included planning and delivering a two day conference for leadership groups entitled "Leading for Creativity" and a one day conference for senior support staff focusing on effective communication, community cohesion and safeguarding.
Outstanding, it's official! Yvonne's school Marland Hill Primary School was inspected by Ofsted in October 2008 and judged outstanding in all areas.
